The Patrouille des Glaciers took place from April 25 to 28 in the Swiss Alps in Valais. As every two years the Swiss Army organizes this International Mountainering Race, probably the thoughest in the world. This is one of the largest and most complex real mission of the Swiss Army and the bigest Swiss Air Force's air transport exercise. This edition was marked by bad weather conditions with snow storm the first weeks of sling operations and a snow-eater storm (+ 80 kt.) during races.
