Juli 2011 Beim nächsten Mal bitte noch Avherald konsultieren, dort findet man die sachlich fundierteren Berichte, nicht im Billig-Blatt. http://www.avherald.com/h?article=4403c70e&opt=1 An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N780AN performing flight AA-963 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) with 246 passengers and 14 crew, was in the initial climb out of runway 17R when the crew reported they had an engine (Trent 800) fire indication asking whether tower had observed anything. Tower replied in the negative, the crew declared emergency nonetheless and levelled off at 2000 feet. While turning downwind the crew reported the fire indication had ceased. The aircraft was seen dumping fuel while positioning for a landing on runway 17C. The aircraft touched down for an overweight landing about 10 minutes after departure and blew several tyres during roll out and came to a stop about half way down the runway. No injuries occurred. The airline reported there was a problem with one of the two engines of the aircraft. As the aircraft could not dump sufficient fuel the landing was overweight, the brakes locked up causing a number of tyres to blow out. The aircraft remained disabled on the runway, the passengers disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal. Zitieren
