Visit on board Theodore Roosevelt CVN71 1995

[Sailing Dutchman]

In 1995 I was sent to the Med with my ship to enforce the embargo on the former republic of Yugoslavia. For the hard needed airsupport the Americans also deployed the Theodore Roosevelt for the groundtroops.

When the carrier was at anchor in the bay of Corfu I got the oppertunity to visit the ship.
