VATSIM [Wed, Nov 5 2008 1300Z-1600Z] VACC Austria goes real

On November 5th members of VACC Austria are invited to join a seminar for management members of Austro Control (http://www.austrocontrol.at) in Laa/Thaya, Austria. The reason for this is the exchange of knowledge in terms of communication and networking when joining teams in different countries (Single European Sky).

 

Because of the experience we gained in a "virtual parallel world of Austro Control" in exactly that task in the last few months and years, Austro Control asked us to share it with their managers. This will be done by a continous PowerPoint presentation on a beamer and two VATSIM stations (one FlightSim and one EuroScope station).

 

Dear Pilots!

 

To support our presentation we kindly ask you to fly to or from Vienna (LOWW) that afternoon between 1300Z and 1600Z. Surrounding FIRs and VACCs have been asked to provide ATC services for the same matter, so you may expect ATC services around Austria as well.
