September 2005 Eos to Begin Flights Nov. 1 Eos, a new trans-Atlantic business class only airline, yesterday an- nounced that it is currently accepting reservations. The airline's daily roundtrip service between New York John F. Kennedy Inter- national Airport and London Stansted is slated to begin Nov. 1. Eos' Eastbound flights will depart New York JFK's Terminal 4 at 7:05 p.m. and arrive London Stansted at 7:30 a.m.; westbound flights will depart London Stansted at 10:30 a.m. and arrive New York JFK at 1:29 p.m. Eos' basic unrestricted round trip price will be $6,500. Eos operates three Boeing 757s configured for 48 passengers, and will be adding a fourth as operations get underway. The airline says its cabin will be configured in suites in which each one has 21 square feet of per- sonal space. For every passenger a second seat is provided, allowing tra- velers to meet, work or dine together. The Eos seat also fully reclines in- to a 78-inch, flat bed. Beginning Jan. 3, 2006, Eos also will offer a second daily flight between New York and London, departing New York JFK at 9:15 p.m., arriving London Stansted at 9:40 a.m.; and departing London Stansted at 4:15 p.m., arriving New York JFK at 7:14 p.m. (commercialaviationtoday.com) Zitieren
