On Friday, 13th Feb 2004 doomsday is comming to the servers, the ICP and ATOC in form of a large scale test of all three components.

 

The large scale test will be on the route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas all the way down to Dallas/Fort Worth.

We will provide the pilots with full ATC coverage (that means tower to tower)

 

The test starts at 1900Z, so please show on time, so you can make a 1900Z departure.

Controllers will start to show their digital faces around 1800Z.

 

For those of you, who figure to give us controllers the extra thrill. Please don't...

So no CAP-Flights,no supersonics, disable FS-Maintenance and PMDG failure settings.

We just want to concentrate on two things.

A) Get you safely from ZLA to ZFW

B) Find any bugs/kinks left in the system.

 

As much as those extra-thrill-rides (for lack of a better phrasing) are fun. We can't use them THAT night.

General Info:

* We'll be using RVSM, even though the FAA decided to start using RVSM for US-Airspace in 2005.

* Alternate Airport for all flights is Dallas/Love.

 

Fuel planning:

* Expect outbound AND inbound delays so fuel up accordingly.

* We suggest you plan for a 3 hour trip, plus 45 mins regular extension plus an additional hours worth of fuel for holding.

* For those who figured we put the charts in here so they (the charts) can be ignored, better put another 2hrs worth of fuel on board, because "NO CHARTS" will be considered a request for a 2hr hold in the boondocks.

Für solche, die sich getrauen, mal in ein anderes Netz zu schauen, als "nur" in ihrem zu fliegen :D

 

Und nach der Liste zu urteilen, gibt es etliche, die die Software zum "ausprobieren" bereits auf ihrem Rechner haben (>> NUR die neuste Software Version ATOC 1.8 gebrauchen).
