Bin im FS schon 2 mal von EDDM nach KEWR geflogen, was mit angleichen der aircraft.cfg ohne Probs geht. PS: Bin die STrecke mit der Privatair 737 auch schon ich Echt geflogen! Eine Frage: Mit der höchstmöglichen Tankmenge von ca. 29 Tonnen nach deiner aircraft.cfg komme ich laut FMC aber nicht über den großen Teich... - "insufficient fuel" meldet es. Kann ich eine noch höhere Menge für den Centertank einstellen oder muss ich etwas Anderes ändern? Danke im Voraus für die Antwort, Christoph Zitieren

Januar 2004 Hallo Christoph Die B737NG so wie sie jetzt ist, wurde von PMDG nicht für Langstrecken entwickelt, es werden nur die Versionen -600 und -700 simuliert. Mit ein paar Hacks in der aircraft.cfg kannst du nicht erwarten, dass der für die erwähnten Versionen programmierte Flight Management Computer mit Langstrecken klarkommt. PMDG wird die 737NG weiterentwickeln, nach den Versionen -800 und -900 wird dann der BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) kommen, die Version die auch Private Air fliegt. Und damit werden dann auch Langstrecken möglich sein, so wie in real halt... Also erwarte bis dahin keine perfekte Langstreckenmaschine, denn das ist sie noch nicht... Gruss Markus Zitieren

Ich habe jetzt gelesen, dass die 737-700 ca. 1,3 Tonnen Fuel pro Engine pro Stunde verbraucht, sodass eine Flugstrecke von 3700 nm mit vollen Tanks mit der Anpassung der aircraft.cfg zu erreichen sein dürfte. Mir scheint, dass FMC rechnet zu Beginn eher mit einem zu hohen Verbrauch, der sich dann im Reiseflug allmählich verringert und dem realen anpasst. So zum Beispiel startete ich mit 12,4 Tonnen von EDDS nach GCTS (Teneriffa) und bekam auch im Reiseflug noch lange Zeit die Meldung "insufficient fuel". Dürfte meiner Meinung nach wahrscheinlich ein kleiner Bug sein... Christoph Zitieren
